Wednesday in the Green is an initiative by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) for students under the Student Care Managers' (SCM) list, led by Professor Jesvin Yeo.
Here is an except from the brief:
Reports show that time spent outdoors can improve students’ mental and physical health, which is something today’s students need more than ever. We seek to bring students closer to nature and hope that they will find an interest in exploring the outdoors after attending these workshops. The workshop will be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
I was tasked to organise these workshops from copywriting, liaising with instructors (if needed), designing the EDMs, gather responses through Google Forms for interested participants, carry out the workshops, and take photos and gather feedback after the workshops.

EDMs created for the different WITG workshops that were mass distributed to the students
EDMs designed made use of a nature-esque colour palette and elements, making it easy on the eye and evoke warmth. Since it was a brand new project series, I took it in stride to ensure consistency in visuals and copywriting in the graphics and forms created, so as to show that the series of workshops are all under WITG.
I communicated with various instructors for the different workshops to confirm their availability, venue and what they needed to conduct the workshops.
As a huge advocate for mental health wellness. I was excited and honoured to be working alongside Professor Jesvin. Unfortunately, there were little to no sign-ups for these workshops; possibly due to lack of promotion or reach. Analytics show that there were clicks to access the forms but that did not lead to sign-ups. The students on the SCM list were a small cluster too.
Nonetheless, it was a learning opportunity for me and I'm thankful to be part of it.
